Lara Wilcox

Lara is an experienced medical malpractice and personal injury attorney who has dedicated her life to helping injured people.  Lara earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in 2002, where she was a member of the WWU Policy Debate Team and interned for the

Whatcom County Public Defender.  She went on to attend Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington and earned her Juris Doctor in 2009. During law school, she earned the highest grade in Appellate Writing, interned for the Spokane County Prosecutor, and represented indigent clients in various matters as a Rule 9 Intern for Gonzaga University Legal Assistance Clinic.

Lara represents clients in matters related to medical malpractice; nursing home neglect; automobile, bicycle, and pedestrian collisions; injuries from defective and dangerous products; construction site injuries; and injuries on land known as premises liability claims including traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death.  She has handled multiple matters through trial and appeal, including arguing before the Washington State Supreme Court in her first year of practice.

Lara is admitted to practice in the states of Washington and Idaho, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington. She is an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) where she serves on the Development Committee and as a member of Women of WSAJ.

Lara is an avid sailor, scuba diver, and skier.  In their spare time, Lara and her husband Jon enjoy exploring the Salish Sea and Vancouver Island above and below the water.
