Ms. Jane Morrow has been named as a leader in the American Red Cross’s Northwest Region. Jane is a partner with Otorowski, Morrow, and Golden, and she was recently named as chair of the King County chapter of the American Red Cross (ARC). The naming represents just another highlight in Jane’s prestigious career.
From Nurse to Successful Medical Malpractice Attorney
From the beginning of her professional career in medicine as a critical care nurse, Jane had a passion for providing quality patient care. As a nurse, she took care of thousands of patients who required meticulous attention to their medical needs. During her nursing career, Jane witnessed the importance of protecting the legal rights of her patients and in 1992 she obtained her law degree.
Jane’s success in merging her compassion, her medical knowledge and her skills as a trial lawyer gives her the ability to obtain legal remedies and lawful accountability through the civil justice system. She has been a passionate advocate for her clients who have suffered injuries or death in the context of:
- Hospital negligence,
- Physician negligence,
- Automobile and truck accidents,
- Nursing home negligence,
- Vaccine injury, and
- Dangerous products and drugs.
Jane constantly utilizes her medical background and specialized expertise to dissect complex cases and bring them to a meaningful resolution for her clients.
An Organization Worth Supporting
ARC is also known as the American National Red Cross. The organization provides:
- Disaster Relief
- Lifesaving Blood
- Training and Certification
- International Services
- Services to the Armed Forces
The American Red Cross has provided over a century of compassionate service. Founded in 1881, the Red Cross has more than proven its dedication to serving people in need. The organization emphasizes and promotes its fundamental principles:
- Humanity,
- Impartiality,
- Neutrality,
- Independence,
- Voluntary service,
- Unity, and
- Universality.
It is truly a “life saver” and we support the organization 100 percent of the way.
The American Red Cross Northwest Region has offices throughout Washington State. It serves the people, businesses and communities of Washington and North Idaho. Within just the last year, the region has:
- Responded to more than 1,500 disasters,
- Provided 9,500 services to military members, veterans, and families.
- Installed more than 6,000 services to military members, and
- Collected 27,000 units of blood.
The chapters in the State operate through the efforts of approximately 60 full-and part-time employees and more than 2,400 volunteers. Each chapter has a volunteer Board of Directors which ensures that the chapter is meeting the needs of their communities and acting as an effective steward of its donor’s contributions. The group also develops the vision for each chapter and determines the policies that guide decisions. We could not be prouder to say that Jane Morrow, an attorney with our firm, is the chair of the King County chapter of the American Red Cross.
